A festive and delicious Patriotic Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie, perfect for celebrations!
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup red and blue M&M’s (or similar candy)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie pan or a deep dish pie plate.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and M&M’s until evenly distributed.
- Spread the cookie dough evenly in the prepared pie pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the pie to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For a festive touch, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
