  • 2 tablespoons Caster/Granulated Sugar coconut sugar is a healthier alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon or sweet cinnamon
For the Drizzle (Optional)
  • 1 cup Vegan Caramel Sauce homemade or store-bought

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line two baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and slice them into ½ inch thick strips.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon to create the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. Wash and core the apples, slicing them into thick pieces and coat them with cinnamon sugar.
  5. Wrap each cinnamon-coated apple slice in a strip of puff pastry, sealing with dairy-free milk.
  6. Brush the tops of the pastries with dairy-free milk and sprinkle with more cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  8. Allow the pastries to cool for a few minutes before serving warm, optionally drizzled with vegan caramel sauce.
