- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking tray with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
- Slice the potatoes into thin, even slices about 1/4 inch apart, leaving ½ inch unsliced at the bottom.
- Insert carrot sticks between the potato slices to mimic the legs of your creepy critters.
- Pierce the ends of each potato with a chopstick and insert shorter carrot sticks for antennae.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of salted butter and brush it over each potato, then bake for 8 minutes.
