Preheat the Oven – Set your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Bake the Tots – Arrange frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 28 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Let them cool slightly.
Assemble the Skewers – Carefully thread 4 to 6 tots onto each skewer and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Add Toppings – Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and half of the chopped green onions.
Bake Again – Return the skewers to the oven for 5 to 7 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish & Serve – Remove from the oven, sprinkle with remaining green onions, and serve hot with sour cream on the side.
