Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter divided
  • 6 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • cup honey
  • Green onions sliced, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with flour, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  4. Combine: Return the chicken to the pan and toss it in the sauce until well coated.
  5. Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and serve over rice or noodles.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use cornstarch instead of flour.
  • Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for a spicy kick.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
