Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by slicing the Italian sausage into even pieces, about half an inch thick.
  2. Mince 2-3 cloves of garlic finely.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ cup of honey, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of vinegar.
  4. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil and salt generously; add your choice of short pasta. Cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes).
  5. Drain the pasta and set it aside.
  6. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the sliced sausage in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and brown the other side for another 4-5 minutes.
