Ingredients
  

For the Beef & Noodles
  • 8 oz beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp ginger minced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 3 green onions chopped
For the Sticky Hoisin Sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
For Garnish
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds optional
  • Fresh cilantro chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook the Noodles
  2. Boil water and cook rice noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Drain, rinse under cold water, and toss with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Make the Sauce
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  6. Cook the Beef & Vegetables
  7. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  8. Sear beef slices for 1-2 minutes per side until just browned. Remove from the pan.
  9. In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and carrot for 2 minutes.
  10. Combine Everything
  11. Return beef to the pan and pour in the sticky hoisin sauce.
  12. Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  13. Garnish & Serve
  14. Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
  15. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Swap beef for chicken, shrimp, or tofu for a variation.
  • Add red pepper flakes or sriracha for extra heat.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
