Prepare the Cheese Mixture – In a small bowl, mix cottage cheese, Parmesan, and parsley. Set aside.
Cook the Beef – Heat a 12-inch oven-safe skillet over high heat. Add ground beef and salt, breaking it up as it browns (about 5 minutes).
Sauté Aromatics – Add diced onion and chopped garlic. Sauté until tender (4–5 minutes).
Make the Sauce – Pour in crushed tomatoes and bone broth. Stir in basil and bring to a simmer.
Cook the Pasta – Add pasta, ensuring it is submerged. Cover and simmer on medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 18–20 minutes until tender.
Broil the Cheese – Remove from heat. Dollop the cheese mixture on top (do not stir). Sprinkle mozzarella over it. Broil on high for 3 minutes until melted and golden.
Garnish & Serve – Remove from oven, sprinkle extra parsley, and serve hot.
