- In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef or sliced steak, seasoning it with soy sauce and chili sauce. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until the meat is browned and fully cooked.
- While the beef is cooking, fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds or until pliable. Lay the wrappers out flat on a clean surface.
- Place a fresh basil leaf in the center of each softened rice paper wrapper. Spoon a small amount of the beef mixture on top of the basil, along with some crunchy vegetables.
- To form the rolls, fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then tightly roll from the bottom to the top. Complete this process for all fillings.
- Once wrapped, arrange the rolls on a serving platter. They can be enjoyed fresh or served with a dipping sauce.
