Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried parsley)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying

Method

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, salt, black pepper, paprika, and parsley. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get approximately 20 meatballs.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides and cooked through.
  5. Once cooked, transfer the meatballs to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of sides, such as mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
