Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Peel and slice the onion. In a skillet, heat olive oil, then add the onions, Worcestershire sauce, Creole seasoning, and brown sugar. Cook for about 10 minutes on each side until soft and caramelized.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef with Creole seasoning, mixing gently. Form into thin patties matching the onion slice size.
  3. Heat skillet to medium-high and sear patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until cooked through and crusted.
  4. Just before removing patties, place a slice of cheese on each patty and cover for 30 seconds to melt.
  5. Whisk together mayonnaise, relish, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and spices until smooth.
  6. Assemble by placing a slice of onion on a plate, adding a patty, a spoonful of sauce, and topping with another onion slice.
