Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the baking dish.
  2. Cut stale bread into bite-sized cubes and layer at the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  3. In a skillet, cook the breakfast sausage until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Add mushrooms and spinach; cook until softened, around 3-4 minutes.
  4. Whisk together eggs, milk, and cheddar in a large mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
