For the Salad
  • 1 cup Pineapple Can be fresh or canned.
  • 1 cup Ham Cubed; can substitute with chicken or turkey.
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers Any color works.
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Thinly sliced.
For the Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Or Greek yogurt.
  • to taste Salt For flavor.
  • to taste Pepper For flavor.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Chop the ham, dice the bell peppers, and slice the green onions. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, pineapple, ham, bell peppers, and green onions. Toss gently.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and/or Greek yogurt until creamy. Pour over the salad and fold gently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to meld flavors.
