Instructions

  3. Spread the filling mixture evenly into a casserole or pie dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt for the biscuits. Cut in cold, cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add shredded cheddar cheese and garlic powder, then gradually pour in milk, mixing gently until just combined.
  5. Drop dollops of the biscuit dough over the chicken filling, spreading them as much as possible.
  6. Bake for approximately 30 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  7. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
