Ingredients

  • 1 box of Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Strawberry Cake & Cupcake Mix
  • Additional ingredients as per cake mix instructions water, oil, eggs
  • 2-3 tubs of Pillsbury™ Funfetti® Vanilla Frosting
  • Strawberry jam
  • Piping bags
  • Piping tip number 2A
  • Small plastic cups
  • Large marshmallows
  • Pink sanding sugar

Method

  1. Bake the Base – Prepare the cake mix following the instructions on the box for a 9x13 baking pan. Once baked, let it cool completely.
  2. Create Bite-Sized Cake Cubes – Cut the cooled cake into small cubes for easy layering.
  3. Fill the Piping Bags – Spoon the strawberry jam into a piping bag. In a separate piping bag fitted with an open round piping tip (number 2A), add the vanilla frosting.
  4. Layer the Sweetness – In small plastic cups, layer the cake cubes, piped strawberry jam, and frosting. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled. Sprinkle the included Funfetti sprinkles on top.
  5. Craft the Bunny Ears – Under adult supervision, carefully cut large marshmallows diagonally to form bunny ears. Press the sticky sides into pink sanding sugar and place them into each cup as adorable bunny ears.
  6. Serve and Enjoy – Your festive Mini Bunny Cake Cups are ready! Perfect for Easter celebrations or a fun dessert treat.

Notes

  • Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve for the freshest taste.
  • Get creative with flavors by swapping the strawberry jam for raspberry or chocolate spread.
  • Use pastel-colored sprinkles for an extra springtime touch.
