- Cut your white fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and coat them with flour or cornstarch, seasoning with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat with butter and olive oil. Once melted, add the seasoned fish bites and sauté for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove cooked fish and sauté minced garlic in remaining butter and oil for 30 seconds, then stir in lemon juice and zest. Return the fish to the pan and lightly toss.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until smooth to create the garlic aioli.
- Plate the fish bites, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately with garlic aioli for dipping.
