  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. Add shrimp and optional red pepper flakes, cooking for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  3. Pour in dry white wine and lemon juice, scraping up any bits from the skillet. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until reduced to create a rich sauce.
  4. Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add reserved pasta water until the desired consistency is achieved.
