Ingredients
Method
Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease 12 muffin cups generously with 1-2 tablespoons of the melted butter.
2. Season the Potatoes:
- Place the sliced potatoes in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the remaining melted butter, 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and white pepper.
- Toss until the potato slices are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
3. Assemble the Stacks:
- Layer the seasoned potato slices into 1½-inch stacks.
- Place each stack into the prepared muffin cups, pressing them gently to ensure they are tightly packed.
4. Bake the Potato Stacks:
- Place the muffin pan in the oven and bake uncovered for 1 hour.
- Check for doneness after 50 minutes; the edges should be golden and crispy, and the centers tender when pierced with a fork.
5. Garnish and Serve:
- Remove the muffin pan from the oven and let the potato stacks rest for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with the remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Use a Mandoline Slicer: This ensures even slicing for uniform cooking.
- Customize Seasonings: Feel free to add fresh thyme, rosemary, or chives for a unique flavor twist.
- Prevent Sticking: Grease the muffin cups generously to ensure easy removal.
