  • 2 sticks butter cold
  • 4 oz. cream cheese cold
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¾ teaspoon almond extract
  • ½ cup Easter M&M’s

Method
 

  1. Prep & Chill: Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place two cookie sheets in the fridge to chill.
  2. Mix the Magic: In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese on medium speed until well combined.
  3. Sweeten the Deal: Add sugar and beat for 2 minutes until fluffy. Mix in egg yolk, vanilla, and almond extract.
  4. Dough Formation: Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, mixing continuously until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Shape & Press: Fill your cookie press with dough and press onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake to Perfection: Bake for 8-11 minutes until the edges start turning golden brown.
  7. Final Touch: Quickly press an Easter M&M into the center of each cookie before they harden.
  8. Cool & Enjoy: Let the cookies cool completely before serving or storing.
