  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and carefully stir in the vanilla extract, lemon juice, and salt.
  4. Let the syrup cool to room temperature before transferring it to a clean glass jar or bottle.
  5. Store the syrup in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
