Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of instant yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, warm 3/4 cup of milk to about 110°F (43°C) and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  3. Whisk in one egg and then pour this mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Transfer the sticky dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour.
  6. Turn the risen dough onto a floured surface, roll it out to 1/2 inch thick, and cut out donut shapes.
  7. Let the donuts rest on a parchment-lined baking sheet for another 30 minutes.
  8. Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the donuts in batches for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  9. Remove the donuts and allow them to cool slightly.
  10. Fill each donut with Nutella using a piping bag until it starts to ooze out.
