Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag 8.5 ounces Flaming Hot Cheetos, crushed (about 3 cups)
  • 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks halved
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 4 large eggs room temperature
  • Fresh parsley optional, for garnish
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping

Method
 

Crush the Cheetos:
  1. Place the Hot Cheetos in a food processor and pulse until fine crumbs form. Transfer crumbs to a shallow bowl.
Set Up the Dredging Station:
    Arrange three shallow bowls:
    1. Bowl 1: Mix flour, salt, and garlic powder.
    2. Bowl 2: Beat eggs until smooth.
    3. Bowl 3: Add crushed Cheetos crumbs.
    Coat the Mozzarella Sticks:
    1. Roll each mozzarella stick in the flour mixture, then dip it in the beaten eggs.
    2. Roll it in the Cheetos crumbs, pressing gently to coat.
    3. Repeat the egg and crumb coating for a thicker crust.
    Freeze:
    1. Place the coated mozzarella sticks on parchment paper and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
    Preheat the Air Fryer:
    1. Set your air fryer to 390°F and let it preheat for 5 minutes.
    Air Fry:
    1. Lightly spray the mozzarella sticks with cooking spray.
    2. Place them in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each stick.
    3. Cook for 4-6 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
    Garnish and Serve:
    1. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.
