Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 4 cups bean sprouts
  • 1 medium carrot julienned
  • 1 bell pepper thinly sliced
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce optional
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  4. Add the bean sprouts and chopped green onions to the skillet. Continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the bean sprouts are tender but still crispy.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Toss everything together to coat evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
