Coating Preparation
- Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour and salt/pepper, one with beaten eggs (add milk if desired), and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
- Carefully unwrap Babybel Cheese and pat dry. Dip each cheese into flour, then into egg wash, and finally into panko breadcrumbs, ensuring even coverage.
- Place coated Babybel Cheese bites on parchment-lined tray and freeze for 10–15 minutes.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for 3–5 minutes while lightly greasing the basket with olive oil spray.
- Arrange chilled Babybel Cheese bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray tops lightly with olive oil and cook for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway.
- Once golden brown, remove from air fryer and let cool for 1–2 minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauces.
