- Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into four 1-inch thick patties without overworking the meat.
- Grill patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). If using cheese, add it in the last minute and cover to melt.
- Toast brioche buns on the grill until golden brown.
- Assemble burgers by layering bottom bun, lettuce, cooked patty, desired toppings, and a generous spoonful of secret sauce. Top with the other bun and serve immediately.
