Method
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded crab meat, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard. Mix well until the crab is evenly coated.
- Add the finely chopped celery, red bell pepper, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well combined.
- If using, fold in the fresh dill for added flavor.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the crab salad on a bed of lettuce leaves or in a sandwich.
