Classic Chicken Alfredo Recipe – Restaurant-Style at Home!

Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
For the Pasta & Sauce
  • 10 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Cook the Pasta
  2. Boil salted water and cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Cook the Chicken
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  6. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  7. Make the Alfredo Sauce
  8. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  9. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  10. Stir constantly until smooth and creamy.
  11. Combine Everything
  12. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the pan.
  13. Add pasta and toss everything until well-coated in the sauce.
  14. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan.
  15. Serve & Enjoy
  16. Plate warm and serve with garlic bread or a side salad.

Notes

  • Swap heavy cream for half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • Add mushrooms, spinach, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
