- Prepare the pie crust by rolling out the dough and fitting it into a 9-inch pie plate. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, and salt to create the topping. Unroll cinnamon roll dough and spread the butter mixture on it. Roll tightly and chill for 30 minutes.
- Pour the apple pie filling into your prepared pie crust, ensuring it’s evenly spread and slightly higher in the center.
