Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread about 12 inches
  • 4 ounces sliced salami
  • 4 ounces sliced ham
  • 4 ounces sliced provolone cheese
  • 1 cup chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced pepperoncini
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the salami, ham, provolone cheese, romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pepperoncini.
  4. Drizzle with Italian dressing and season with salt and pepper. Toss gently to combine.
  5. Spoon the filling mixture evenly onto the bottom half of the bread.
  6. Place the top half of the bread over the filling.
  7. Wrap the sandwich in aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm.
  8. Remove from the oven, unwrap, and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into individual servings.
