Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups grape tomatoes
  • 8 oz block of feta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 5 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
  • 12 oz bow tie pasta

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Ingredients
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Wash and dry the grape tomatoes.
  4. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and keep warm.
  5. Assemble the Baking Dish
  6. Place grape tomatoes in a medium-sized baking dish.
  7. Add the block of feta cheese to the center of the dish, surrounded by the tomatoes.
  8. Drizzle 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the cheese and tomatoes.
  9. Add Seasoning
  10. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and salt evenly over the tomatoes and feta.
  11. Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the feta for extra creaminess.
  12. Bake to Perfection
  13. Bake the dish for 30–35 minutes, until the tomatoes burst and the feta cheese softens. The tomatoes should be slightly charred for enhanced flavor.
  14. Create the Sauce
  15. Remove the baking dish from the oven.
  16. Use a fork to mash the softened feta and burst tomatoes together, forming a creamy sauce.
  17. Combine with Pasta
  18. Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish.
  19. Toss everything together until the pasta is fully coated with the sauce.
  20. Garnish and Serve
