Description

Sweet and Sour Candy Grapes are a delightful blend of fresh, juicy grapes and a colorful candy coating that’s both sweet and tangy. These treats are easy to make, fun to customize, and perfect for parties, gifts, or a unique snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups seedless grapes (red or green)
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup blue candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Edible glitter or sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Grapes: Wash the grapes thoroughly under cold water and pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
  • Melt White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and melted.
  • Coat with White Chocolate: Using a toothpick or skewer, dip each grape into the melted white chocolate, covering it completely. Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill: Refrigerate the coated grapes for 10-15 minutes, or until the chocolate hardens.
  • Melt Candy Coating: In another microwave-safe bowl, melt the blue candy melts with 1 tablespoon of water. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Apply Candy Layer: Dip the chilled grapes into the melted candy coating. Sprinkle with edible glitter or sprinkles immediately before the coating hardens.
  • Set and Serve: Allow the grapes to set at room temperature or in the refrigerator until firm. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Ensure the grapes are completely dry to help the coating adhere properly.
  • Work quickly when adding decorations, as the candy coating sets fast.
  • Use fresh, firm seedless grapes for the best texture and flavor.
