Ingredients

For the Beef & Noodles

  • 8 oz beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 3 green onions (chopped)

For the Sticky Hoisin Sauce

  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

For Garnish

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (chopped)


Instructions

  • Cook the Noodles
    • Boil water and cook rice noodles according to package instructions.
    • Drain, rinse under cold water, and toss with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  • Make the Sauce
    • In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  • Cook the Beef & Vegetables
    • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
    • Sear beef slices for 1-2 minutes per side until just browned. Remove from the pan.
    • In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and carrot for 2 minutes.
  • Combine Everything
    • Return beef to the pan and pour in the sticky hoisin sauce.
    • Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated.
  • Garnish & Serve
    • Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
    • Serve immediately and enjoy!
