Ingredients
For the Beef & Noodles
- 8 oz beef sirloin (thinly sliced)
- 8 oz rice noodles
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (minced)
- 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
- 1 carrot (julienned)
- 3 green onions (chopped)
For the Sticky Hoisin Sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
For Garnish
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Fresh cilantro (chopped)
Instructions
- Cook the Noodles
- Boil water and cook rice noodles according to package instructions.
- Drain, rinse under cold water, and toss with a little sesame oil to prevent sticking.
- Make the Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Cook the Beef & Vegetables
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Sear beef slices for 1-2 minutes per side until just browned. Remove from the pan.
- In the same pan, stir-fry garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and carrot for 2 minutes.
- Combine Everything
- Return beef to the pan and pour in the sticky hoisin sauce.
- Add the cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Garnish & Serve
- Sprinkle with green onions, sesame seeds, and fresh cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
