Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced ham
  • 1/4 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Kosher salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Cook Ham: Sauté diced ham in a skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until lightly browned. Set aside.
  • Prepare Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese until smooth. Stir in ham, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
  • Prepare Crust: Place the refrigerated pie crust into a pie dish and press evenly. Crimp the edges if desired.
  • Assemble Quiche: Spread the ham mixture evenly into the crust. Sprinkle 1/3 cup shredded cheddar and the green onion over the filling.
  • Mix Egg Mixture: In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream until smooth. Pour over the ham mixture in the pie crust. Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
  • Bake: Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the quiche to cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Bring cream cheese and eggs to room temperature for easier mixing and smoother texture.
  • Adjust hot sauce to your spice preference, or omit for a milder flavor.
  • For a vegetarian option, substitute ham with sautéed vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or bell peppers.
