Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter (divided)
- 6 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- ⅓ cup honey
- Green onions (sliced, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with flour, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
- Combine: Return the chicken to the pan and toss it in the sauce until well coated.
- Serve: Garnish with sliced green onions and serve over rice or noodles.
