Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter (divided)
  • 6 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • Green onions (sliced, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with flour, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and honey, and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Combine: Return the chicken to the pan and toss it in the sauce until well coated.
