These tender, bite-sized sausages are coated in a tangy barbecue sauce sweetened with brown sugar and spiced to perfection. Easy to prepare and bursting with flavor, they’ll disappear as fast as you can serve them.

Ingredients

  • 14 to 16 ounces cocktail sausages
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup barbecue sauce

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (for extra heat)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for depth)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crockpot:
    • Spray the inside of your crockpot with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  2. Combine Ingredients:
    • Add the cocktail sausages to the crockpot.
    • Pour in the brown sugar and barbecue sauce.
    • Stir until all the sausages are evenly coated.
  3. Cook the Smokies:
