Description

A delicious and easy-to-make treat combining the sweet and salty flavors of caramel, chocolate, and pretzels.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread the pretzel sticks evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the caramel sauce and stir until smooth and combined.
  4. Pour the caramel mixture over the pretzel sticks, making sure to coat them evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, allowing the pretzels to warm and the caramel to set slightly.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips over the warm caramel pretzels. Let sit for 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to melt.
  7. Once the chocolate is melted, use a spatula to spread it evenly over the pretzels and caramel.
  8. Sprinkle the sea salt over the top while the chocolate is still warm.
  9. Allow the bark to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator for an additional 30 minutes to set completely.
  10. Once set, break the bark into pieces and serve.

Notes

  • For a nutty twist, add chopped pecans or walnuts on top of the chocolate before it sets.
  • Substitute the semi-sweet chocolate chips with milk chocolate or dark chocolate for a different flavor profile.
