Description

A festive and delightful Easter treat made with creamy baby blue chocolate, crunchy robin egg candy, and a fun speckled effect for a picture-perfect holiday dessert!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. baby blue melting chocolate
  • Robin egg candy
  • Easter sprinkles
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • Water (as needed)
  • Basting brush

Instructions

1. Melt the Chocolate:
Use a double boiler or microwave to melt the baby blue chocolate until smooth and creamy.

2. Spread the Base:
Pour the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly with a spatula.

3. Add the Toppings:
Sprinkle the robin egg candy and Easter sprinkles generously over the melted chocolate.

4. Freeze to Set:
Place the baking sheet in the freezer for about 10 minutes until the chocolate firms up.

5. Create the Speckled Effect:
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder with enough water to create a paint-like consistency.

6. Flick the Cocoa:
Dip a basting brush into the cocoa mixture and flick it over the frozen chocolate bark to create a speckled robin egg effect.

7. Break & Enjoy:
Once set, break the bark into pieces and serve!

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate flavor, add a drizzle of melted dark chocolate before chilling.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge for longer freshness.
  • This is a great edible gift for Easter baskets or springtime celebrations!
