Description
A refreshing and fruity iced tea made with passion fruit juice and black tea, perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 black tea bags
- 1 cup passion fruit juice (fresh or bottled)
- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
- Lemon slices (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
- Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then stir in the passion fruit juice.
- Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour to chill.
- To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled passion fruit tea over the ice.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter drink, increase the sugar to 3/4 cup.
- For a refreshing twist, add a splash of club soda before serving for a fizzy version.
