Description

A refreshing and fruity iced tea made with passion fruit juice and black tea, perfect for hot days.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 black tea bags
  • 1 cup passion fruit juice (fresh or bottled)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (for garnish)
  • Lemon slices (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until fully dissolved.
  4. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then stir in the passion fruit juice.
  5. Refrigerate the tea for at least 1 hour to chill.
  6. To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled passion fruit tea over the ice.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices before serving.
