Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to even thickness
½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese, freshly grated preferred
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (oregano, basil, thyme blend)
1 teaspoon paprika Salt and pepper to taste
Optional garnish: fresh parsley or chives


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season both sides with salt and pepper.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and paprika until smooth.

  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the tops of the chicken breasts in the baking dish.

  5. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  6. For a crispy, golden top, broil the chicken for 2 to 3 minutes at the end of baking.
