Loaded Nacho Fries are a crispy and cheesy delight, perfect for a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- 2 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup guacamole
- 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into thin fry shapes.
- In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Remove the fries from the oven and drizzle with sour cream and guacamole. Top with sliced jalapeños and chopped cilantro.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your loaded nacho fries!
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add diced fresh jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce on top.
- Try using sweet potatoes instead of russet potatoes for a different flavor and added nutrients.
