Description

Loaded Nacho Fries are a crispy and cheesy delight, perfect for a snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup guacamole
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into thin fry shapes.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  5. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  6. Remove the fries from the oven and drizzle with sour cream and guacamole. Top with sliced jalapeños and chopped cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your loaded nacho fries!

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add diced fresh jalapeños or a drizzle of hot sauce on top.
  • Try using sweet potatoes instead of russet potatoes for a different flavor and added nutrients.
