Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup sugar-free pizza sauce (for dipping)
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, almond flour, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- If using, fold in the sliced pepperoni and shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
- Using your hands, form small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each ball into a thin chip shape.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving with sugar-free pizza sauce for dipping.
