Description

A rich, creamy, and effortless side dish that’s perfect for potlucks, holidays, or any cozy dinner! This Golden Corn Mac & Cheese Bake brings together velvety cheese, sweet corn, and tender macaroni for an irresistible dish that will have everyone coming back for seconds.

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.75-ounce) can creamed corn
  • 1 (14.75-ounce) can whole kernel corn (do not drain)
  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup cubed Velveeta cheese (about 6 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep – Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking pan.
  2. Mix It Up – In the baking pan, combine creamed corn, whole kernel corn (with liquid), elbow macaroni, butter, and Velveeta cheese. Stir to mix evenly.
  3. Bake Covered – Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Stir & Continue Baking – Remove foil, stir, and bake uncovered for an additional 25 minutes or until the macaroni is tender.
  5. Serve & Enjoy – Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. The casserole will thicken as it cools.

Notes

  • Make It a Meal – Add cooked ground beef or shredded chicken for a heartier dish.
  • Cheese Swap – Try white cheddar or pepper jack for a different flavor.
  • Slow Cooker Option – Cook on high for 1.5–2 hours, stirring occasionally.
