Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80% lean)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
4 brioche burger buns
Lettuce
Tomato
Pickles
Onion
Cheese (cheddar or pepper jack)
Secret Sauce:
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon ketchup
Dash of seasoning (paprika, cayenne, or garlic salt)
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat.
-
In a large bowl, mix ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into four 1-inch thick patties without overworking the meat.
-
Grill patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). If using cheese, add it in the last minute and cover to melt.
-
Toast brioche buns on the grill until golden brown.
-
Assemble burgers by layering bottom bun, lettuce, cooked patty, desired toppings, and a generous spoonful of secret sauce. Top with the other bun and serve immediately.
Notes
Use freshly ground beef for best flavor and texture.
Try different cheeses or mix-ins like crispy bacon or caramelized onions.
The secret sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to a week.
