A delicious and easy recipe for Citrus Glazed Salmon that combines fresh orange juice with honey and spices for a flavorful dish.
Ingredients
- 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and black pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and ginger powder until well combined.
- Pour the citrus glaze evenly over the salmon fillets, making sure they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the glaze.
- Serve the salmon over a bed of steamed rice or quinoa for a complete meal, or pair it with roasted vegetables for a healthy side.
