Description
A fun and easy recipe for making Chocolate-Dipped Patriotic Oreos, perfect for celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 package (15.25 oz) Oreo cookies
- 12 oz white chocolate chips
- 1 oz red candy melts
- 1 oz blue candy melts
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Sprinkles (red, white, and blue)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Dip each Oreo cookie into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to lift the cookie out, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the dipped Oreo on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all cookies.
- In separate bowls, melt the red and blue candy melts with 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil in 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Drizzle the melted red and blue candy melts over the white chocolate-dipped Oreos using a fork or a piping bag.
- Immediately sprinkle the red, white, and blue sprinkles on top before the chocolate sets.
- Refrigerate the cookies for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
- For a fun twist, try using dark chocolate or milk chocolate instead of white chocolate.
- Add crushed nuts or coconut flakes to the sprinkles for extra texture and flavor.
