- 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Prepare the Toffee Coating:
- In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Let the mixture boil for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and baking soda. The mixture will foam up, creating a light texture.
- Coat the Pretzels:
- Place the pretzel snaps in a large mixing bowl.
- Pour the warm toffee mixture over the pretzels and gently stir to coat them evenly.

- Sprinkle the Heath bits into the bowl and stir until they’re evenly distributed over the caramel-coated pretzels.

- Spread the coated pretzels evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 45 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even coating and crispiness.
- Optional Additions:
- After baking, sprinkle finely chopped roasted peanuts over the warm pretzels and toss gently to combine.
- Cool and Store:
- Allow the pretzels to cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Once cooled, break into bite-sized pieces and store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
