  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

For the Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steaks:
    • Generously season the steaks with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.
    • Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over high heat. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness. Adjust cooking time as desired.
    • Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
  2. Cook the Shrimp:
    • In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat.
    • Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
    • Add the shrimp and sprinkle with the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Cajun Cream Sauce:
    • Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream.
    • Stir in the Parmesan cheese and let the sauce simmer until smooth and slightly thickened, about 3 minutes.
    • Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  4. Assemble and Serve:
    • Slice the rested steaks into thin strips and plate them.
    • Pour the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce generously over the steaks.
