Ingredients
For the Steak and Shrimp
- 2 ribeye or sirloin steaks (1-inch thick)
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
For the Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Steaks:
- Generously season the steaks with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over high heat. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium doneness. Adjust cooking time as desired.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- Cook the Shrimp:
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat.
- Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
- Add the shrimp and sprinkle with the remaining Cajun seasoning. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Make the Cajun Cream Sauce:
- Lower the heat to medium and pour in the heavy cream.
