Ingredients
- 9-pack slider buns
- 1 ½ cups shredded chicken (rotisserie, canned, or homemade)
- ½ cup Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce (or any buffalo-style hot sauce)
- 2 tablespoons ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing for a tangier twist)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup shredded cheese (Colby Jack, Swiss, provolone, or Monterey Jack)
For the Garlic Butter Topping:
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat & Prep: Heat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×9 baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper.
- Mix the Filling: In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Assemble the Sliders: Place the bottom halves of the slider buns on the baking sheet. Evenly distribute the buffalo chicken mixture on each bun.
- Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of the buffalo chicken mixture, then place the top buns over the cheese.
- Brush with Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this over the tops of the slider buns.
- Bake to Perfection: Cover the baking sheet with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve & Enjoy: Slice the sliders apart and serve hot with your favorite sides.
Notes
- Use blue cheese dressing for an extra tangy flavor.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less buffalo sauce.
- Best served immediately but can be stored in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven for the best texture.
