Description
Banana Split Fluff is a delightful and creamy dessert that combines the flavors of a classic banana split in a fluffy, easy-to-make dish.
Ingredients
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
- ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- ¼ cup chocolate syrup
- ¼ cup maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mini marshmallows, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla yogurt. Use a hand mixer to whip the mixture until it is smooth and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
- Gently fold in the sliced bananas, crushed pineapple, strawberries, and walnuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
- Drizzle the chocolate syrup over the mixture and fold it in gently to create a marbled effect.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the fluff to chill.
- Before serving, spoon the fluff into individual bowls or a large serving dish. Top each serving with a maraschino cherry.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute the heavy whipping cream with whipped coconut cream.
- You can also add a layer of crushed graham crackers for a crunchy texture.
- For a tropical twist, consider adding shredded coconut or using mango in place of bananas.
